Your Daily Tasks & Responsibilities as a Speech Language Pathologist:

In this role, you will work closely with other professionals to make a remarkable impact on children's lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Screening & Evaluation for Speech & Language Therapy
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to speech, language, and feeding.
  • Establish and update plans of care for Speech Therapy
  • Make progress with patients through treatment of sound production, language, fluency, pragmatics, AAC, aural, cognitive, voice, and/or feeding with home education programs.
  • Reassess and re-evaluate progress that leads to discharge for all goals met.
  • Celebrate patient success such that they are an inspiration for others!
  • Educate the public on how Speech & Language Therapy helps, such that the community sees help is available and possible.
  • Support the whole child with our complimentary multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Choose your passion with our various settings of outpatient in Owensboro and Henderson KY, remote telehealth, and/or school based setting. (Ask about your preferred setting in your interview.)
  • Full Time, Part Time and PRN flexibility available.


Qualifications: To succeed in this role as an Speech Language Pathologist, you should meet the following requirements...

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program.
  • Preferred: Certification of Clinical Competence obtained from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) OR eligible to begin clinical fellowship year.
  • Clinical Fellows welcome to apply! Paid CF supervision at no cost to you!
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as Speech Language Pathologist as required in the state of Kentucky.

  • Efficiency without giving up effectiveness with your time.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their developmental needs.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children
  • Ability to develop creative and engaging therapy activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers
