**What You'll Do** 

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at TheraTree, your work will impact lives daily. Your responsibilities will include: 

- Conducting comprehensive screenings and evaluations using standardized assessments to identify strengths and challenges in areas such as ADLs, motor skills, sensory processing, and cognition. 

- Developing and implementing creative, individualized treatment plans and **home education programs** to maximize patient progress. 

- Monitoring and documenting patient progress with precision, ensuring accurate records. 

- Supervising and mentoring OT Assistants, therapy aides, students, and volunteers.

- Collaborating with a **multidisciplinary team** to provide whole-child care. 

- Supporting children and families with compassion, ensuring a positive therapeutic experience. 

- Staying updated on the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric OT. 

- Celebrating every child's success and inspiring others with their progress!

**What We're Looking For**

We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled OT who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. 


Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program (AOTA & ACOTE standards). 

- Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kentucky. 

- Creative and engaging approach to therapy activities. 

- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

- Commitment to teamwork and holistic care. 


Bonus Skills (Preferred):

- Experience with sensory integration techniques.

- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment. 

- Expertise in behavior management strategies, handwriting, and fine motor skills development.

- Ability to empower parents and caregivers with guidance and support.
